Upon your arrival to Kirkenes, we will pick you up, either at the Kirkenes airport, boat harbour, or Thon or Scandic hotel in town. At the Snowhotel, you can check-in at our reception where we will give you all necessary practical information and take care of your luggage. Our restaurant will be open, and it is recommended to order lunch before going out on your first adventure.

At 13:00 it’s to time to meet up in the dogyard for your Husky Mountain hike. You will get your own husky to hike with, and will be joined by a guide who will show you the way through the mountainous landscape surrounding the Snowhotel. Take in the beautiful nature and amazing views while being in the good company of your own husky.

Upon return to the Snowhotel camp, the Gamme cabins will ready.If you booked the Snowroom for the first night, we have a lounge at the restaurant where you can stay and relax until dinner is served at 19:00.

You have free access to all facilities at the park; including a visit to our dog yard, reindeers and the Snowhotel which will be open for visitors during daytime.

During your three-course dinner in Låven restaurant, we will give a "how-to-sleep-in-the-snowhotel" tutorial for those of you spending the first night in a Snowhotel room. After dinner, the ice bar will be open.

After waking up from a magical night at the Snowhotel, you are welcome to our breakfast buffet which is served from 08:30AM until 10:00AM at our restaurant. Those of you staying overnight at a Snowroom will be kindly asked to check out of their room before breakfast.

After breakfast you will have time to enjoy our park; visit the Snowhotel, cuddle with the huskies and visit the reindeer, go for a hike or bicycling tour, or try your luck fishing in the fjord (all equipment is free to borrow). The restaurant is open if you would like to order some lunch.

At 12:40 your guide will meet you in the lobby of the restaurant to take you on the King crab Safari. After dressing up (you will get a safety suit, goggles and other equipment), we head out by RIB on the fjord to go fish the king crab. We take the catch home with us, prepare the crab, and serve a big and fresh lunch back at the restaurant. The activity finishes around 16:00 which will give you plenty of time to relax in your cabin, take a sauna, or go out exploring the surroundings before dinner is served at 19:00.

On the last day you can enjoy once again our breakfast buffet (from 08:30AM until 10:00AM) before checking out. As requested in your reservation, we will take you to Kirkenes, the boat harbour or the airport.

Note! The activities Husky Mountain Hike and King Crab Safari will be added to your package reservation automatically as these activities are a fixed part of this package (non-optional).

Good to know before booking

-       Please note there is a 7 year age limit for this package.

-       Staying overnight in a Snowroom means you will stay in a cold room, totally made of ice, in an average temperature of - 4°C (regardless the time of the year).

-       Dinner menus are the daily chef`s choice, prepared from local, Arctic ingredients.
