Upon your arrival to Kirkenes, we will pick you up, either at the Kirkenes airport, boat harbour, or Thon or Scandic hotel in town. At the Snowhotel, you can check in at our reception where we will give you all necessary practical information and take care of your luggage.

Your cabin will be ready from 12:00, latest at 15:00. If you do have an early arrival, we recommend booking an extra activity, in addition to this package, for example the King Crab Safari at 13:00 which includes lunch. Just be sure to book this in advance so you have your spot on the additional activities secured as well.

You have free access to all facilities at the park; including a visit to our dog yard, reindeers and the Snowhotel which will be open for visitors during daytime.

If you are spending your first night in a Snowroom, you can relax at our lounge in the restaurant until the three-course dinner is served at 19:00.

During your dinner in Låven restaurant we will give a "how-to-sleep-in-the-snowhotel" tutorial for those of you spending the first night in a Snowhotel room.

At 21:00, a guide will meet you at the lobby of the restaurant to take you on a northern lights chase. Make sure to dress up warm and bring your camera and tripod (optional). We will head out by bus to find the perfect locations away from light pollution and bad weather, to hopefully witness this amazing phenomenon. Along the way, your guide will take some photos and serve hot berry juice.

After waking up from a magical night at the Snowhotel, you are welcome to our breakfast buffet which is served from 08:00AM until 10:00AM at our restaurant. Those of you staying overnight at a Snowroom will be kindly asked to check out of their room before breakfast.

After breakfast you will have time to enjoy our park; visit the Snowhotel, cuddle with the huskies and visit the reindeer, go for a hike, or try your luck fishing in the fjord (all equipment is free to borrow). The restaurant is open if you would like to order some lunch.

At 13:00 it is time to meet up at the dog yard for a Husky Wagon tour. The tracks cover approximately 5 km. You get your own team of huskies, and a musher who will drive the wagon (two guest share one wagon) around the scenic area by the fjord.

After return to the camp, you will have time to relax in your cabin, take a sauna, or go out exploring the nature before dinner is served at 19:00.

On the last day you can enjoy once again our breakfast buffet (from 08:00 until 10:00) before checking out. As requested in your reservation, we will take you to Kirkenes, the boat harbour or the airport.

Good to know before booking

-       Please note there is a 7 year age limit for this package.

-       Staying overnight in a Snowroom means you will stay in a cold room, totally made of ice, in an average temperature of - 4°C (regardless the time of the year).

-       Dinner menus are the daily chef`s choice, prepared from local, Arctic ingredients.

Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies.

Note! The activities for Hunting the Northern lights by AuroraExpress and Husky Wagon will be added to your package reservation automatically as these activities are a fixed part of this package (non-optional).
